Jane Fallon A passionate story of friendship and betrayal by international bestselling writer Adele Parks `I invited her in... and she took it all away''.

When Mel finds out that a lost friend needs help, he doesn't hesitate to invite her to stay.

Mel and Abi were best friends in their day, sharing the ups and downs of student life, until Mel's unplanned pregnancy made her drop out of school.

Now, seventeen years later, the lives of Mel and Abi couldn't be more different.

Mel is happily married, having raised her son on her own before meeting her husband, Ben.

Now they share beautiful girls and have a chaotic but happy family home, with three children.

Abi, meanwhile, followed her lover to Los Angeles for a glamorous life of parties, celebrities and indulgence.

Everything was perfect, until she discovered that her partner had been cheating on her.

Seventeen years wasted, and nothing to prove it.

So what Abi needs now is a true friend to lean on, to share her pain with a glass of wine and have time to heal.

And what better place than Mel's house, with her lovely children and her supportive husband....

This dark and disturbing story of the reunion of lost friends is an exciting exploration of wanting what you can't have, jealousy and revenge from Sunday Times bestseller Adele Parks.
